I recently completed a focus group that paid $450 for 75 minutes of my time.
While $450 is a little more than usual, typical focus groups pay anywhere from around $50 to over $100 per hour.
There are many consumer research companies that pay people like you and me to share their opinions. Companies then use the feedback to improve their products and services.
Pinterest, Spotify, Macy’s, Home Depot, Trip Advisor, and more use focus groups to get feedback about their latest products, websites, and more.

Creating printables on Etsy can be a great side hustle because you just need to create one digital file per product, which you can then sell an unlimited number of times. It becomes a fairly passive way to make money.
Printables are digital products that customers can download and print at home. Examples include grocery shopping checklists, gift tags, candy bar wrappers, printable quotes for wall art, and patterns.
5. Become a Bookkeeper and Work From Home
If your goal is to make $100 a day over the long term, becoming a bookkeeper can be an excellent option.
The great part is that you don’t need to be a certified accountant or have prior experience. Bookkeeping is a skill that can be learned and applied to remote work, making it ideal for a stay-at-home career.

I once read that the average household contains around 300,000 items, so I’m sure you could do a little hunting around your home and see what you can find to sell quite easily.
And, even if you think that you do not have anything to sell – remember that one person’s trash may be another person’s treasure. There are probably several things around your home that you can sell to make extra money.
Now, for selling your stuff, you can sell in all kinds of places, such as:
Facebook buy/sell groups– There are selling groups on Facebook so that you can sell items to someone in the same area as you.
Thrift stores – Thrift stores may pay on consignment, cash on the spot, or store credit. Taking your stuff to a thrift store will probably be the fastest way to sell things as they will be able to pay you cash right away for whatever they can sell.
eBay – eBay allows you to have more people see your item for sale, which may mean making more money from the item.
Craigslist – Craigslist allows you to easily sell items in your area.
Yard sale – This can be an easy way to sell many things at once, plus you can do it all from your home. A downside is that the amount you can earn per item is significantly lower.
One reason for why finding items to sell around your home can allow you to make $100 fast is because you already have stuff to sell, you simply just have to list it online and a buyer can find you.
14. Find random Craigslist jobs to make $100 fast
If you’re looking for a one-time job, then perusing your local Craigslist can be a way to make $100 quickly.
With Craigslist jobs, you usually get paid right after you complete your work, which means that you’ll get paid the same day.
To find Craigslist gigs in your town, just go to Craigslist and look for the “gigs” section.

15. Get a roommate
Finding a roommate, whether that be full-time or occasionally renting out an extra room on Airbnb, can be a way to make extra money each month.
It may not be $100 a day, but you make several hundred dollars a month doing so, or even over $1,000 extra each month.
I have even heard of people buying a large house with many bedrooms, and renting out every single bedroom. So, you may have 3 or 4 renters living with you. This may cover your entire mortgage payment and/or even give you a little bit of spending money on top of what you are earning by having roommates as well.
There are many places where you can advertise your rental. You can put a sign on your front lawn, advertise in a newspaper, or place an ad online on a website such as Craigslist.
For me, I have had many roommates over the years. When I owned a home, I would often rent out one or even two of the spare bedrooms to long-term renters to make extra money. This included a friend as well as my sister. This helped us with our monthly costs so that we weren’t as stretched with our budget each month. This was around $300 to $400 a month per bedroom that we could earn. While it was not always the most pleasant thing on earth (fights with roommates can definitely happen), there are things you can do to prevent them, such as by having clear ground rules and even a contract.
16. Walk dogs and/or pet sit
Being a dog walker and/or watching pets may allow you to earn money each month.
With this gig, you may be watching pets in your home, or going over to the pet owner’s home to take care of the pets.
For pet boarding, you may be able to make around $25+ per day for watching someone’s dog or other pet in your home. Pet sitting is a great service to offer, and if you love animals (which you should if you are going to do this) then it could be fun as well!
For us, I have paid $50 per dog for a dog sitter in the past, and since we have two dogs, the total was around $100 per day. And, our dogs were pretty easy to watch too and she always seemed happy to watch our dogs. We were always very grateful to have her as a dog sitter as well, as our dogs loved her and staying with her. It seemed like a win-win situation for all of us.

17. Become a secret shopper
I was a secret shopper in the past, and there were often mystery shops that gave me $100 to put towards a nice free dinner. I always looked forward to these, as I was living paycheck to paycheck, and I used these restaurant mystery shops to reward myself every now and then.
I also completed other mystery shops as well, some that paid me actual money, and others that paid me in free items too (such as makeup or household goods). There are others that may allow you to get free oil changes, free date nights, free salon visits, and more. I have seen all kinds of mystery shops over the years.
Companies hire mystery shoppers because they want to get a better idea of what the customer experience is actually like.
They want to see the full experience, such as what the customer thinks of the product, how customer service was handled, how the phone was answered, and so on.
Basically, it’s a way to anonymously test the whole process.

18. Yard maintenance jobs to learn how to make a quick $100
Yard maintenance is one of the most dreaded household chores for some people. Many, many people outsource their yard maintenance tasks. This may be because of a lack of time, not having the correct tools (such as not having a good lawn mower), or simply not wanting to do yard maintenance in general.
Due to that, it’s one idea for how to make $100 a day.
You may be able to make money by doing snow removal, mowing lawns, cleaning gutters, raking leaves, and so on.
To find yard maintenance gigs, you may:
Create a Craigslist post sharing your services
Share your yard maintenance services on your personal Facebook account
Go through the Craigslist gigs, as mentioned above
Go door to door in your area and share your services
Share a flyer on a local bulletin board in your area
List your services on online community sites, like Facebook pages or Nextdoor
As you can see, there are many ways for you to share your services so that you can find gigs and make $100 a day.
19. Start a freelance writing career
Becoming a freelance writer is one way to learn how to make $100 a day online. Many freelance writers make several hundred dollars a day as they gain more experience.
A freelance writer is someone who writes for different clients, such as websites, magazines, SEO (search engine optimization), advertising companies, books, and more.
They don’t work for one specific person or company, instead they write for many people.
I was a freelance writer for many years and it was a great way for me to make extra money. You get to set your own schedule, be your own boss, write on a topic or niche that you choose, and so on.

20. Rent out your RV
If you have an RV that is sitting around, then you may be able to make $100 to $300 a day, or more, by renting it out.
Surprisingly, a lot of people have RVs that they do not use very often. Instead of just letting your RV sit there, you may be able to make extra money by renting it out. And, yes, you may be able to easily make $100 a day from renting out your RV to others.

Freelancing is when you run your own business and provide services to different clients. I’ve already told you about a few different freelance business ideas: writing, running Facebook ads, proofreading, and bookkeeping. But there are so many different kinds of freelance job ideas.
More and more companies are hiring freelancers instead of full-time employees. In fact, according to a study done by Upwork (one of the largest freelance job platforms), there are now more than 57 million freelancers in the U.S.
