Formula 1 is finally making its return with the 2025 season kicking off in Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix this Thursday, March 14. This time, the season's start is a doubleheader, meaning that following the Melbourne Grand Prix, the speedy drivers and their teams will head straight to Shanghai the next weekend for the Chinese Grand Prix.
Between the thrilling races, a gathering of top F1 drivers descending upon Melbourne, and all the post-race celebrations, there's plenty to anticipate this weekend. Speaking of celebrations, the beverage brand Glenfiddich, an official partner of Aston Martin’s Formula 1 Team, is hosting a post-race Formula 1 party at the QT that’s absolutely worth checking out.
Situated on the QT’s iconic rooftop, the daily afterparty, Club 1959, kicks off just as the Albert Park gates close (that’s 6pm), offering guests the prime spot to enjoy a sundowner with local Melbourne DJs, including Clara Yates, Bos Housen, DJ FEMME, Sarah Turvell, Brittany Leo, and Kayla Bruno, performing each night.

Those without race tickets can head to QT early and enjoy the event on the big screen from 3pm before the DJs start. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis each day, so act quickly, folks.

The four-day Formula 1 party will offer guests Glenfiddich signature serves of the ‘59 Spritz and Warehouse 8 sours. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to see the 2025 Aston Martin F1 Team racing gear worn by Fernando Alonso and get a glimpse of Glenfiddich’s latest, super exclusive 1959 bottling on display — it’s a unique bottling to commemorate the year the Aston Martin F1 Team legacy was first established.
How awesome is that?!
